The search for the body of Delphine Jubillar continues in Cagnac-les-Mines. After the Drignac farm, the investigators raked around the couple’s house.

The body of Delphine Jubillar about to be found? After three days of a vast search operation launched by the gendarmes and the soldiers of Montauban, a team of experts in specialized operational excavations has been requisitioned in order to widen the area in an attempt to find the body of Delphine Jubillar. After inspecting the surroundings of the Drignac farm, the investigators focused on a valley, located below this farm, at the level of the road to Milhars, 2 kilometers from the home of the Jubillars, according to information from the newspaper. The Dispatch.

Throughout the day, machines felled trees and shrubs in a large area where the remains of Delphine Jubillar could potentially be buried. According to a source close to the investigation, “a specialized team with detection devices, radars and metal detectors even participated in the excavations”, proof that the police are still far from giving up. But locals seem less and less optimistic.

Georges, local resident: “Investigators won’t find anything here”

Georges, a resident of Cagnac, crossed on a steep path, said: “We often see maneuvers in the area. Every four months, they block either the Chemin de Médard or the road next door that goes up to Cagnac. The surroundings of the Drignac farm have already been searched by Delphine’s friends who have set up a collective”. For him, “The gendarmes unfortunately won’t find anything here… otherwise, they would have found it already”.

On the contrary, Emy, Hélène and Séverine, the three girlfriends of Delphine Jubillar, see with a good eye the relentlessness of the police. “It reassures us to see that the research is thorough. The Drignac farm and the surrounding woods are an area that we know. We have already been there several times during our research, but with our limited means. But there, the investigators have put the big resources and we know that something concrete is happening. It’s normal for them to come back to these places, everything has to be taken into account. We know that the investigators will find Delphine”. The excavations should still last until the end of the week. After that, one thing is certain: the investigators will not give up.

["content"]=> array(1) { ["encoded"]=> string(5006) "

We are talking again about the terrible eruption that shook the Tonga Islands a week ago with Mathilde Fontez, editor-in-chief of the scientific magazine Epsilon. And scientists are studying a strange phenomenon.

franceinfo: While help is finally arriving on site, are the scientists studying the images, the data?

Mathilde Fontez: Yes, and to be honest, they are quite perplexed. First by the intensity of the explosion. We said it, it is record. And it remains to understand why. On this, there is a track: it is the depth of the volcano.

At the time of the eruption, the top of the crater was submerged below the sea surface, 150 – 200 meters. This is perhaps what amplified the phenomenon: when the magma and the gases rose, they suddenly encountered much colder water. And it created an explosive mix.

If the depth had been greater, the water would have rather tended to smother the explosion. But it is not only power that questions. The researchers are intrigued by the strange propagation of the shock wave in the atmosphere.

Thanks to the images that were taken by satellite?

Yes, in particular by those taken in the infrared, by NASA’s Aqua satellite. On the images, we see waves, waves in concentric circles in the clouds, which we had never seen before. In any case since the satellite has been in service, since 2002.

So in itself, the phenomenon is known: when the molecules of the air are disturbed vertically, we know that it can form these gravity waves which propagate. It can just happen when the wind picks up on top of a mountain. But there, the circles that have been captured by the satellite are very numerous.

There are dozens of them. They extend for 16,000 kilometers around the eruption. The phenomenon extends downwards to the surface of the sea. And upwards no doubt to the ionosphere, at an altitude of 80 kilometers. And everything is much more confused, there seems to be a mixture of sizes and types of waves. The convection of the atmosphere seems quite complicated, bumpy…

Are there any hypotheses to explain this?

The study is just beginning. But one of the ideas is that this atypical wave pattern would be due both to the great power of the eruption, and to its duration. It all happened in 8 minutes in the Tonga Islands! It’s very short. Often, the eruptions can be counted in days, in months. Some even last several years…

Even more than its intensity, it is the brutality of this eruption that is exceptional. The specialists evoke a large bubble of hot air which would have risen in the atmosphere, and which would have somehow reversed the air.

In the film by Khalil Joreige and Joanna Hadjithomas, in theaters, a mysterious memory box breaks a secret. From “Drôle de drame” to “Festen”, this eminently cinematographic leitmotif was brilliantly illustrated. The proof by five.

She didn’t expect it. One day, while snow blocks Montreal, Maïa (Rim Turki) receives a big card from Beirut. From where do her memories escape: these photos, these diaries, the notebooks she wrote, in the 1980s, in the midst of the Lebanese civil war, to a friend whose parents had chosen to emigrate to France… In secret, Alex, her daughter (Paloma Vauthier), rushes to discover this unknown mother who hid so much from her during her adolescence… Maïa, she is reluctant, perhaps out of fear, to confess – to confess, above all! – the truth about the death of his father, this murdered hero…

Even if Khalil Joreige and Joanna Hadjithomas’ film shines with its sensuality and melancholy, it is on this family secret that Memory Box (released January 19). One of those secrets which, concealed or revealed, upset the protagonists and carry them away. Towards drama, Towards sweetness, too. And sometimes towards burlesque…

“Festen”, by Thomas Vintenberg (1998)

Ulrich Thomsen in «Festen», by Thomas Vinterberg (1998).

Photo Nimbus Film

Since its presentation at the Cannes Film Festival (and a Jury Prize…), the film has become the symbol of the scandalous family secret. Thomas Vintenberg had a lot of merit in succeeding, since Festen inaugurated the rather stupid Dogma95, enacted for almost ten years by Lars von Trier. This charter, called “Vow of chastity”, obliged the signatories, under pain of exclusion, to comply with absurd rules: live sound, natural light (if you couldn’t see anything on the screen, too bad!) , the handheld camera, the location unit and the 35 mm. No optical filters, geographical and temporal diversions. No “genre film”, either. Nor “superficial actions” (weapons, murders, etc.). Finally – a clause very quickly neglected, that one – the director should not sign his work…

The story of Christian (Ulrich Thomsen) revealing, in the middle of a party, the rapes committed on him and his sister by their father, with the tacit agreement of the family, has (despite a few drops in pace) lost none of its strength today. Its success in France inspired, in 2017, a theatrical adaptation, directed by Cyril Teste. Thomas Vintenberg had a hard time resisting this unexpected triumph: it was only after years of artistic wanderings (Dear Wendy, 2005, The Hunt, 2012, Kursk, 2018), which he signed Drunk, where four professors get drunk scientifically to improve the lot of humanity…

“Tetro”, de Francis Ford Coppola (2009)

Vincent Gallo in “Tetro”, by Francis Ford Coppola (2009).

Photo American Zoetrope

Tetro is the inverted double of Firm. No single action or location, but flashbacks and homages to outlandish films by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger (The Red Slippers, The Tales of Hoffmann). No live sound. And a showy staging, to the point that Coppola succeeds, at times, in Orson Welles-style framing. Star of the film: the brilliant cinematographer Mikhaï Malaimare Jr, who, in breathtaking black and white, multiplies inventions and audacity…

But, basically, it is also the story of a patriarch. A world famous conductor. Not a sexual predator, but a bully who doesn’t hesitate to ask his brother to change his name because he’s embarrassing him or to steal his older brother’s girlfriend. It is his painful and hateful son (Vincent Gallo) who we find in Buenos Aires. But, unlike the Christian of Firm, “Tetro”, as he calls himself, is not without reproach either: he unwittingly caused the death of his mother and he himself drags along a heavy secret, as his younger brother will discover (Alden Ehrenreich ), who came to join him in Argentina… You cannot escape the curse of your clan: such is the almost naturalistic philosophy of Coppola’s last important film. The culmination of his autobiographical vein, between fantasy and opera…

“The Cat on a Hot Roof”, by Richard Brooks (1958)

Paul Newman and Elizabeth Taylor in Richard Brooks’ Cat on a Hot Roof (1958).

MGM

It’s a strange film that spends its time carefully denying the subject – the secret – it deals with. We are in Hollywood, at the end of the 1950s. Impossible to show openly, therefore, a homosexual on screen, especially if he is interpreted by Paul Newman, the rising star, married on screen, what is more, with the most beautiful and sensual woman of the moment: Elizabeth Taylor. Richard Brooks and screenwriter James Poe therefore go to great lengths to sanitize the fierce and provocative play by Tennessee Williams. Find, in particular, a good reason that could explain why the hero, healthy in body and mind, shirks so fiercely, and for so long, his “marital duty”.

The passion that Brick (Newman) felt for a missing friend therefore becomes, through their good care, his remorse for not having been able to prevent his death… No one is fooled, of course, especially since the filmmaker keeps a few signs revealing: Brick’s grimace when his beautiful wife kisses him. And this brutal exchange: “How are you going to have a child with a man who can’t stand you? – That’s the problem that I will be forced to solve! »… Newman and Taylor’s good looks on top add to the nervousness that hovers over the film. On this hovering secret that no one wants to admit.

“Lola Pater”, by Nadir Moknèche (2017)

Fanny Ardant and Tewfik Jallab in “Lola Pater”, by Nadir Moknèche (2017).

Photo Blue Monday Production

After the death of his mother, for a question of inheritance, he is forced to look for his father, who abandoned him when he was a kid. But when he realizes that Ferid has changed sex, that he gives oriental dance lessons in the South under the name of Lola, that he now has the extravagance and vulnerability of Fanny Ardant, this is too much ! Zino (Tewfik Jallab) freaks out: “I don’t know what’s stopping me from smashing your face” he cries to this dark-haired woman whose eyes implore him. ” Sick ! » he throws at her before fleeing… He stumbles. She gets confused. He rejects her. She rebels: “I’m still your father!” » she shouts one evening of confrontation, both grotesque and grandiose…

All that remains, then, for Nadir Moknèche, gentle and rare director, is to observe these two dissimilar beings and to watch, between them, the stages of their difficult, but inevitable rediscovery. Over the course of very beautiful scenes (the love confession made to Lola, in a hospital, by her faithful and devoted companion), the family secret slowly dissolves, to the sounds of a spanish dance of Granados, in indulgence. In the heat of the air. In the birth of feeling…

“Funny drama”, by Marcel Carné (1937)

Michel Simon and Jean-Louis Barrault in “Drôle de drame”, by Marcel Carné (1937).

Photo Pathe

Certainly, it is because Mrs. Molyneux (Françoise Rosay) is a stubborn bourgeois (live without a cook, she, never!) that the “funny drama” begins. But also, and above all, because her husband (Michel Simon) drags a secret, very profitable, but shocking: in the prudish England of 1900, he writes detective novels (in fact, it is his secretary who imagines them, taking them herself from a milk delivery man…). It is Molyneux’s secret that the Bishop of Bedford (Louis Jouvet) is trying to unlock, who himself is hiding one, and one of the most dishonorable: photos of naked dancers dedicated to their “baby Bedford”. It is also to Molyneux that William Kramps (Jean-Louis Barrault) entrusts his: “I’ve never hurt a fly. I have a passion for animals. Butchers kill animals. So, I kill the butchers”…

Disasters are piling up. Ah, if only Molyneux had never written his thrillers!…

The family business from Belleville-en-Beaujolais has joined Compagnie Française des Transports Régionaux. A win-win operation for the two players in road passenger transport.

A regional mobility operator in France, the CFTR group has 17 subsidiaries covering the Ile-de-France, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Hauts-de-France and Normandy regions. The acquisition of the family business Autocars Maisonneuve, present in the Rhône, Ain, Loire and Saône-et-Loire regions, enables CFTR to double in size on the second largest public road passenger transport market in France.

“This merger is an opportunity to considerably strengthen our presence in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Autocars Maisonneuve is a very fine regional company that operates on its territory with the same quality of service requirements for travelers as all of our companies. By integrating CFTR, the company will benefit from our strategic expertise enabling it to meet the technological, environmental and economic challenges of tomorrow’s mobility,” explains Stéphane Guenet, CEO of CFTR.

Road passenger transport market concentration

The operation is also welcomed by Jean-Baptiste Maisonneuve who remains president of the company created by his grandfather 60 years ago. With 350 employees and a fleet of 300 coaches, Autocars Maisonneuve is a heavyweight in road passenger transport in the territory. Indeed, the carrier, which generated €22.5 million in turnover in 2021, operates 15 regular lines and carries 15,000 students every day. Not enough to consider the future serenely. “We had not reached the critical size in the region. In a context of concentration on the road passenger transport market, this merger with the CFTR group reduces the need to grow at all costs while leaving us a great deal of autonomy,” says Jean-Baptiste Maisonneuve.

Possible acquisitions in Ain, Loire and Saône-et-Loire

Turned towards the continuation of its development, the Beaujolais company plans external growth to establish its place in the region. “We are attentive to opportunities for the takeover of SMEs, particularly in Ain, Loire and Saône-et-Loire,” said the president who, after having regained part of the activity lost in 2020 due to the health crisis, is counting on 2022 turnover comparable to 2019. Autocars Maisonneuve, which generates 50% of its activity with school transport, 25% with regular lines and 25% with occasional tourism, is thus targeting €24 million in turnover.

€3 million invested for 15 new gas vehicles

The energy transition is the other challenge to be met. Over the past 12 months, Autocars Maisonneuve has invested €8 million in the greening of its fleet. Fifteen new gas vehicles, representing an investment of €3 million, have just joined the company for the Sytral market. “At the end of the 1st quarter, we will have 50 natural gas coaches”, indicates Jean-Baptiste Maisonneuve. This renewal of the fleet will continue, but the manager stresses the urgency of developing the network of charging stations.

FUNERAL – The opportunity to pay a last tribute to the French actor. Gaspard Ulliel’s agent announced on Saturday January 22 that the funeral of the actor who died at the age of 37 after a skiing accident, will be scheduled for Thursday January 27 in Paris.

His agent, Laurent Grégoire, spoke to AFP to indicate that this ceremony will take place in the Saint-Eustache church, in the 1st arrondissement of the capital. However, it has not yet been specified whether or not this ceremony will be open to the public.

The accidental death of Gaspard Ulliel has sparked a multitude of tributes, from the political world to that of the cinema, to a man who had a brilliant career and was very popular in the cinema world.

An accident “in fairly simple circumstances”

An investigation was entrusted by the Albertville public prosecutor’s office to the CRS Alpes to clarify the circumstances of the fatal collision between Gaspard Ulliel and another skier, which occurred on Tuesday January 18 in the resort of La Rosière, in Bourg-Saint-Maurice.

Investigators from the CRS Alpes d’Albertville, this police unit in charge of high mountain resorts, have since been working to “investigate the causes of death” of the 37-year-old actor. And according to their first findings, the investigation is heading towards a dismissal, no responsibility being apparently engaged.

“According to these first testimonies and the observations made on the spot, the two skiers were moving side by side and ran into each other”, explains Anne Gaches, the public prosecutor of Albertville. “For the moment, it is difficult to say whether it was the shock or the fall that led to Mr. Ulliel’s death”.

In addition, the prosecutor added that there is nothing to ensure that wearing a helmet on the side of the actor would have changed the outcome of the accident. Indeed, if the other skier involved, a man of Lithuanian origin, was wearing a helmet, this was not the case for Gaspard Ulliel. “This accident is very sad but the circumstances are quite simple, there is no particular complexity”, finally concluded Anne Gaches.

Several shop windows, as well as the statue of a founder of French Action, were degraded on Friday January 21 during an anti-fascist rally in Nantes, learned this Saturday franceinfo and France Bleu Loire Océan from police sources. Three people were arrested after the damage, according to information from franceinfo. Two of them were taken into custody.

According to France Bleu Loire Océan, it is the statue of Georges de Villebois-Mareuil, on the Place de la Bourse, which has been degraded by paint sprays. This soldier born in Nantes, and known for his commitment alongside the Boers against the British army in South Africa, is one of the founders of the far-right nationalist and royalist movement Action française, in 1899.

The torchlight march organized by ultra-left activists brought together 630 people between 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., at the same time ultra-right activists gathered for a mass in memory of Louis XVI, who was guillotined on January 21, 1793. There there was no scuffle between the two groups.

The socialist mayor of Nantes, Johanna Rolland, hastened to condemn on Twitter “with force the degradations of which our city center has been the object”, reports France Bleu Loire Ocean. “Support and tribute to our police officers who are doing a remarkable job in the face of these ultra-violent groups”, loose for her part the president of the regional council of Pays de la Loire, Christelle Morançais who condemns facts “extremely serious”.

At Parc OL,

Champagne football is definitely flowing in 2022 for OL. The Lyonnais have just had two successes in Ligue 1 for the first time since September. And this each time on the score of 1-0 thanks to a penalty scored by Moussa Dembélé, in Troyes last week, then Friday during a lackluster derby (1-0). Joking aside, this is the proof, 13 days after an OL-PSG during which the Lyonnais spent their time defending (1-1 but 31.6% possession of the ball), that Peter Bosz has changed a lot since the start. ‘last summer. To the point of hearing this disciple of Johan Cruyff let go after the painful victory against the neighbor from Saint-Etienne: “If we win all the matches 1-0, I will be very happy”.

An assumed and stunning 180° turn, for the dogmatic Dutchman, or a temporary adaptation due to the terrible end of 2021 for OL and the pressure for results put before Christmas by Jean-Michel Aulas? We tend to opt for the second scenario, as the person concerned was so passionate and pedagogical when he presented on his arrival in Lyon his love of intense pressing and “offensive and attractive football”. This project probably did not survive the holiday season and a then problematic 13th place in Ligue 1.

Needs on the wings and at the tip?

This dilemma about the game plan presents another question in the background: will Lyon take advantage of this winter transfer window to offer Peter Bosz recruits who could allow him to resume his march forward? At least not to start a match with a defensive triplet Lukeba-Mendes-Da Silva to contain the only Nordin (1.70 m), as was the case on Friday.

Profiles of blasting wingers à la Moussa Diaby, whom Peter Bosz blew up at Bayer Leverkusen, seem to be a priority, seen as they are lacking in this unbalanced workforce, especially to align his favorite 4-3-3. A powerful reinforcement would not be too much on the attacking front either: Moussa Dembélé is doing a little better (2 penalties scored in five days), but Tino Kadewere (back from CAN unlike Islam Slimani) missed the opportunity to score his first goal of the season against the Greens (1-0, 74th).

Jeff Reine-Adelaide as the only “rookie”?

The options are therefore reduced in front, especially in the absence of Karl Toko Ekambi, still in contention with his Cameroonian selection. “There is a lack of goals, it is on this point that confidence is fishing on our side at the moment, notes Maxence Caqueret. All of that will have to be fixed. “It will not be a priori by welcoming the Iranian Sardar Azmoun, Bosz’s top priority but about to complete his contract at the Zenith (June 2022), as RMC Sport has just revealed. He could thus engage freely with the club of his choice next June, just like Ajax goalkeeper André Onana, whom Bosz strongly desired last summer. Without the slightest reinforcement so far, could this OL (provisionally 10th) really launch a real series and fight for European places?

“We didn’t have a very good match, but above all we needed the victory to move up the rankings, justifies Maxence Caqueret. This performance in the derby does not worry us because we have seen good things in our last weeks. There, it was a day without, we did not manage to find each other well to create chances. With a team roster comprising eight defensive-minded players, that’s hardly a surprise. And at worst, if Peter Bosz fails to get a new player by January 31, he will be surprised to see his president tweeting about “the club’s prestigious recruit Jeff Reine-Adelaide, back after a long injury” . The string is too big, so it can only tempt JMA.

Almost 2 months after the liquidation of the SAM, the mobilization does not weaken around the employees who occupy the factory. A call for a rally brought together between 2,500 and 3,000 people this Saturday. Among them, employees, elected officials, residents of Decazeville and trade unionists.

Elected officials, decazevillois, trade unionists and activists from Dordogne, Cantal, Lot, Tarn, Tarn-et-Garonne and Haute-Garonne, they were between 2,500 and 3,000 gathered this Saturday morning in front of the SAM (Société Aveyronnaise de Metallurgy). A new rally organized by former employees who are determined not to lay down their arms. The 340 “SAM” are on the contrary determined to fight to maintain an industrial activity in the Decazevillois basin and for this, they multiply the demonstrations and the calls for rally since the liquidation of their company on November 26th.

Saving SAM, the flagship of automotive subcontracting, at all costs

Don’t let go before a business recovery solution is in place. Such is the ambition of the former “SAM” who occupy the factory closed for 61 days. Some spent the end of year celebrations there and have no intention of leaving.

Mobilized for 2 months

As soon as the announcement of the liquidation of the company, after the refusal of the manufacturer Renault (sole client of SAM) to support the only takeover project, the employees began a fight to try to save their factory. ; a fight that lasts forever.

The first demonstration organized on December 1 brought together more than 5,000 people. Local elected officials, trade unionists, employees of the metallurgy sector from all over France but also inhabitants of the basin.

Since then, other support actions have followed. On January 7, around thirty mayors, deputies, municipal and departmental councilors placed their tricolor scarf on the gates of the foundry. A way to protest against the inertia of the government more than a month after the judicial liquidation of the company.

On January 12, it was in Paris, in front of the Ministry of the Economy in Bercy, that the employees went to express their anger. They accuse Bruno Lemaire of having given in to Renault when the Minister of Economy and Finance had pledged to do everything to save SAM.

A very political file

As soon as SAM went into recovery in December 2019, the Minister of Industry, Bruno Lemaire, took up the case. Despite all the promises, he failed to convince Renault, a company in which the state holds 15% of the capital, to support the sole project leader ready to take over SAM, while the state and the region Occitanie brought 8.8 million euros to the buyer who lacked equity.

Since then, a project manager has been appointed to work on a site reindustrialization project. But for the moment, no concrete track is being studied.

For former employees, the upcoming election period is a godsend. They intend to take advantage of this period to question the presidential candidates on the industrial future of the Decazeville basin. The future of SAM could therefore well be invited into the debates. In the meantime, workers take turns day and night in the factory to keep the ovens in operation and to prevent the machines from being sold at auction. They want to continue to believe that activity can resume.

He is one of those who are multi-hatted. He is both a rapper, visual artist, agricultural entrepreneur, model and above all his current hobby, acting. Focus on Tchelo Ghislain Akoizam Tondé, one of the nuggets of cinema made in Burkina Faso.

As a child, he mimicked his father during his performances. Tchelo Ghislain Akoizam Tondé is the son of musician Roger Tondé, better known as “the man with the hat”, and an Ivorian-Burkinabe woman. His father taught him to play the guitar and unknowingly passed on the music genes to him. Growing up, the little boy had only one obsession, to become a singer like dad. But his parents don’t hear it with the same ear. “Dad dreamed of seeing me as a doctor as he was after his career as an artist. The parents wanted me to study for a long time before claiming a career as an artist,” he recalls.

His first love was music

At the end of his secondary studies, he decided to start rapping. His first group is called LDL (The Defenders of the Law) and the second Black Nega. He then embarked on a solo career. After years in music, he begins another chapter of his life by becoming a tourist guide. This work allows him to discover more Burkina Faso and the surrounding countries. In Ghana where he was staying, Tchelo had a meeting that would mark a turning point in his career. “I met an actor who impressed me. He told me that I had talent and that I had to try my hand at the cinema, ”he explains. At first he was skeptical. “I thought it was going to take my time, whereas I love freedom. I like the liberal professions”. But, the man still decides to try his luck by going to a casting. Despite his lack of experience, he was selected for the lead role in a film by director MCZ.

The greedy for fame, the Achilles heel of Burkinabe cinema

Appetite coming with eating, Tchelo Ghislain Akoizam Tondé ends up falling in love with acting. He then decides to train. And it is the famous actor Issaka Sawadogo who teaches him the tricks of this job. “I was lucky to run into him. He didn’t hesitate to share his experience with me,” he recalls, still amazed by the kindness of the famous actor. The training ends up paying off: from 2019 to date, Tchelo Ghislain Akoizam Tondé has shot in around fifteen films. We can cite: ”Journey from nowhere”, ”The price of risk”, ”Uzur”, ”The team of beautiful rebels” and the latest, ”More and more further away”.

He is one of those who think that a professional actor must be able to “incarnate all the roles”. However, the actor admits that he often refused to work in certain film projects. “I refused to act in certain films, not out of arrogance but there are projects that drag you down,” he says.

The actor (in the middle) during a film shoot

Does the acting profession feed its man in Burkina Faso? “Being an actor feeds some people. The cachet is often meager for other actors, ”he underlines. But he recognizes that, thanks to the visibility he had through the cinema, other doors were opened to him.

He has several strings to his bow: he is a model, visual artist and agro-business man. For Tchelo Ghislain Akoizam Tondé, if Burkinabè cinema has lost its former glory, it is partly the fault of the actors whom he describes as “have you seen me”. “They come to follow our films and they are seduced. Many of them want to make movies just for fame. Sometimes, the director calls a professional to shoot in his film. This professional gives him his stamp, he considers that the amount requested is excessive. Yet it is normal that one can live from one’s art. This director will therefore go to the “have you seen me” who are ready to play often even for free. The consequence is that the result at the end is not famous, ”he is offended.

For Tchelo Ghislain Akoizam Tondé, training is essential for those who wish to embrace a career as an actor

To those who are passionate about acting, he gives them advice: get trained. “Most of the elders went through the theater, but today’s young people don’t want to go through any training. I did not do theatre, but I trained in this discipline because you have to understand what you are doing, ”he insisted.

Today, Tchelo Ghislain Akoizam Tondé dreams big. He wants to conquer America and works in this direction: “I dream of being on the American sets. I want to play in Hollywood”. He says he is aware that such an ambition requires enormous sacrifices, but as he reminds us, “work can lead to the realization of dreams”.

Even today, we are struggling to recover from the shattering news announced by Microsoft. The American giant is preparing to buy Activision Blizzard for the modest sum of 68.7 billion dollars, enough to allow Xbox to continue its renaissance.

Activision bought by Xbox for 70 billion dollars: it’s official!

Many questions, but few answers until the acquisition

The news brings more questions than answers, and for good reason, the two stakeholders cannot really express themselves for the moment. At the moment, we only know that Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass should benefit from many games from the newly acquired publisher.

Phil Spencer also expressed his “intention to honor all existing agreements upon the acquisition of Activision Blizzard and our desire to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation”. This “desire” is typically the kind of talk that raises more questions than answers.

Xbox, PlayStation and Call of Duty: doubt persists, what can Phil Spencer hide?

In his January 21 podcast, Major Nelson said he is aware that fans are curious and would like to better understand what this takeover entails, but he is not in a position to discuss it at this time. We will have to be patient before Microsoft and Activision Blizzard detail their plans. This reminds us of the situation we experienced when the Bethesda acquisition was announced.

Now I’m sure you’re tuned in and the comments are going to be filled with people “oh we want to know xy and z and all those details”…and the reality is it’s going to take a while, it’s is a, as you know, from a monetary point of view, it’s one of the biggest, it’s the biggest contract that Microsoft has ever done […]. It’s a lot of money, and there’s a lot of work that needs to be done to get it done. And that’s all we can say for now. As you can imagine, there are lawyers and regulators and there are a lot of, I don’t mean hoops, but there is a lot of work to be done before this is done. I think that’s a good way to put it.

Answers provided as soon as the transaction is finalized

Major Nelson confirms that once everything is finalized, the actors of the two stakeholders will be able to express themselves on what the takeover will change for the two American giants. He specifies that he will welcome guests on his show.

>> And once that’s done, we can talk more about it, right?

>> Yes, we can talk about it again. If you’re listening, you won’t get anything, you won’t hear anything at all. […] Once that’s done and the deal closes, I’m sure we’ll have a lot to talk about and we’ll have guests on the show. I can’t wait for everyone at Activision and Blizzard to join the Xbox team, because it’s going to be a lot of fun.

Like what Xbox had proposed with Bethesda, we can legitimately think that we will be entitled to a round table with Xbox and Activision Blizzard. The manufacturer had organized this directly after the closing of the deal with Bethesda.

By June 2023, many other questions are likely to arise. If we suspect that players will see the catalog of Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass flooded with games from the publisher, owners of competing platforms would like to know if they will still benefit from Activision Blizzard licenses. Like a sense of déjà vu…
